Information and consultation on the Airbus SAS 2024 Social Report - Vote

Airbus SAS management presented the figures for the 2024 social report.

The year 2024 was marked by a workforce of 10,617 permanent employees and 465 fixed-term contracts (mainly work-study students) at Airbus SAS at the end of December 2024, marking a pause during this period. As a reminder, the number of permanent employees and 389 fixed-term contracts stood at 10,514 at the end of 2023.

In detail, we note:

202 permanent hires, 193 of whom are engineers and managers, 40% of whom are women.

277 fixed-term hires, 51% of whom are women.

Of these hires, 241 involved employees under the age of 25.

Regarding departures, the total number of employees was 735 (645 in 2023), the majority of which were 290 outgoing inter-company transfers, 205 voluntary retirements and early retirements, 191 terminations of fixed-term contracts, and 83 resignations.

Regarding occupational health and safety, the frequency rate of workplace accidents (excluding commuting) resulting in lost time decreased to 1.33, totaling 22 accidents resulting in lost time. The number of accidents without lost time was 33.

Conversely, the number of commuting accidents resulting in lost time was 30 over the same period.

In terms of absenteeism, the total number of days of absence exceeded 118,000 in 2024, including more than 68,000 days of sick leave.

We also noted more than 29,000 days of absence taken for authorized leave in the first year of the new social agreement. This proves, if further proof were needed, the real need for employees to have introduced this new social progress during negotiations led by FO.

Following the presentation by Airbus management representatives, our union organization, FO, issued a Favorable notice after reading the attached FO statement.

Information and consultation on the Human Rights audit - Vote

The human rights audit is a commitment by Airbus to audit 100% of its sites with more than 100 employees by the end of 2026 and will be conducted by a third-party service provider.

This audit, which will take place over three days from September 30 to October 2, 2025, will include a site visit, individual or small group interviews with approximately 30 to 40 people, and a document review.

It will be conducted by an external organization in certain Airbus sectors (customer services, working parties and training) as well as two subcontractors (HCL and Elior).

The auditees will be selected by the Auditor on the day of the audit from a list of employees, which will itself be drawn up from a panel of people representative of a broad socio-professional category and those present on site on the day of the audit. Site visits will be conducted and document reviews will be conducted.

In this context, we invite all employees interviewed to raise their concerns and defend the interests of all.

As a union, we will ensure that this audit is conducted impartially and that its conclusions are not simply a validation of existing conditions. The goal is the continuous improvement of our working conditions, and FO will not compromise on this point.

Following all the information presented, our FO organization has issued an Favorable notice after reading the attached FO statement.
