Fuel Crisis: Demonstrating Collective Responsibility

10/04/2026

Faced with the escalating conflict in the Middle East, significant tensions are being felt regarding fuel supplies.

Everyone is aware of the emerging difficulties: soaring prices, uncertainty, queues, and the risk of shortages.

In this type of situation, collective responsibility must be demonstrated.

As part of its Societal and Environmental Responsibility, Airbus must anticipate the possibility of a potential shortage in order to be ready to react when the time comes by proposing ad hoc measures.

FO Airbus SAS is therefore asking Management to consider the possibility of increasing the number of teleworking days for employees whose work allows it, on a temporary and voluntary basis.

This simple measure would have several advantages:
* reducing pressure on fuel supplies
* contributing to the necessary efforts toward fuel efficiency in this specific context
* helping to facilitate access to fuel by reducing demand.

This is not a perk, but a concrete act of solidarity, made possible by organizing work without impacting overall performance.

A responsible company is one capable of adapting its practices to serve the collective good.
