1) International context
The conflict in the Middle East is driving up inflation and jet fuel prices (+25%), prompting airlines to raise their fares.
Despite this, the aviation sector remains resilient, with air traffic rising by 1% in the first quarter of 2026. IATA forecasts a 2% increase for 2026.
Meanwhile, freight traffic has grown by 4%.
2) Commercial and industrial status update as of the end of July 2026
Status of orders, cancellations, and deliveries for June and July 2026:
Orders: 275
Cancellations : 13
Deliveries: 156 (Note: 89 aircraft were delivered in June; this is a record for the month of June)
Airbus dominates the market with 1,024 net annual orders compared to Boeing's 438, securing a 70% net market share.
The delivery target is set at 870 aircraft for 2026. Approximately 400 aircraft remain to be delivered between September and December.
Key highlights

A350F: successful tests of the cargo loading system and cargo door. First flight scheduled by the end of 2026.

- 55 minor accidents or first-aid cases
- 156 near-misses
- 75 commuting accidents including 47 by bike/e-scooters.
