Accidentology Airbus SAS - FR1 (Airbus Déclaration)
During September 2024, one work accident with stoppage of more than 30 days were recorded
Consequently, the accident frequency rate over the last 12 rolling months is for the Airbus SAS scope is:
0.53 for the FR1 rate for the Airbus SAS perimeter at the end of September 2024
1.91 for the FR1 rate for the Airbus Commercial Aircraft perimeter at the end of August 2024
The Airbus Commercial objective for the year 2024 has been set at 1.95 and the Airbus SAS 2024 objective remains < 1
As a reminder, the FR1 rate taken into account for the calculation of the incentive bonus is that of the ACA (Airbus Commercial Aircraft) scope.
Since the beginning of 2024, the overall accident rate has been as follows:
59 accidents at work with lost time, 79 accidents without lost time, 87 minor accidents or first aid and 470 almost accidents
Falls from ground level are increasing and it is difficult to reverse this trend. A detailed analysis is needed to better understand the root causes of these falls.
FO has therefore today reiterated its demand for a precise breakdown of the root causes.
In addition, 89 commuting accidents over 12 months were also recorded, including 25 with lost time, 32 without lost time and 32 minor accidents.
Minutes of the CSSCT-E meeting of 25 September 2024
The meeting reviewed the following key issues:
Information on site visits and smartphone usage rules
Rules to respect
Make calls while walking with the phone to your ear, an earpiece or a bone conduction headset.
Do not use your smartphone on a pedestrian crossing, in a car park or on indoor or outdoor stairs.
Stop walking to read, write or look at your screen.
When answering a call in a wheeled vehicle (including a bicycle, motorbike or scooter): do not use the phone with or without earphones or headphones.
Use the integrated system in vehicles or stop in secure areas (car parks) to answer a call.
Communication from managers to teams and a Safety for All event on 26 November at the Airbus SAS site are planned.
Psychosocial Risk Assessment (RPS) 2024 of the Occupational Health and Safety Department (SPST) Airbus SAS
At the end of September 2024, 544 consultations had been carried out for 265 employees and 260 consultations for new situations.
Among the problems identified, the following should be noted:
Management of new comers and mentoring
The need to align priorities and responsibilities
Difficulties with production tools and reporting/software tools that are too complex to manage.
The highest risk factor is work intensity and workload.
In the first-half 2024 review of PSR assessments, the OM organization (Manuf Eng & Robotics & automation transform prog) came out with an intolerable level of risk.
A multi-disciplinary meeting was therefore called to roll out an urgent action plan.
Among the other sectors at risk, the LL, LO and LC functions are also affected, with departures and sick leave.
